Biography
Bartlomiej Arendarski studied electronics and telecommunication at the Wroclaw University of Technology in Poland and graduated with an M.Sc. in 2005. He completed a Marie Curie Early Stage Research fellowship at the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF in Magdeburg, Germany, from 2006 to 2009 and became a research manager there in April of 2009. In 2012, he joined the Department of Electric Power Networks and Renewable Energy Sources in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, where he earned his PhD degree in 2015. His special fields of interest include multi-criteria planning and operation of modern power systems, integration of renewable energy sources, storage and electric mobility in smart grids, telecommunication and digital communication in electrical grids, test and measurement methods for determining parameters of power systems and reliability calculation methods.
