Biography
Md. Alamin Talukder completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. During his time at the university, he served as a Teaching Assistant, helping to guide students in their academic journey. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Alongside his teaching role, he also works as a Research Assistant at the School of Information Technology at Deakin University, Australia, and in the Department of CSE at Jagannath University.
Mr. Talukder is an internationally recognized researcher with experience collaborating on research projects with universities across the globe. He has been the recipient of several prestigious awards and honors, including the ICT Research Fellowship from the ICT Division in Bangladesh, the NST Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in Bangladesh, as well as the Merit Scholarship and Special Research Award from the Department of CSE at Jagannath University. Additionally, he was granted a Reviewer Grant from Qatar University. Recently, his contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals have also been acknowledged.
A passionate data scientist and researcher, Mr. Talukder specializes in machine learning, deep learning, and AI-based decision-making systems. His primary focus is on developing interpretable and clinically relevant models aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency in various sectors. His diverse research interests include cancer research, neuroscience, natural language processing, cybersecurity, and big data analysis.
