Biography

Walid Helmy is a lecturer of pesticide toxicology at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. He gets his B.Sc. in Agric. Sci. (Plant Protection), Fac. Agric., Cairo Univ. in 2005, M.Sc. Agric. Sci. (Pesticides), Fac. Agric., Cairo Univ. in 2014, and Ph.D. in Agric. Sci. (Pesticides) in 2021.
He teaches four courses which are Pesticide toxicology, plant protection, Environmental pollution with pesticides and their treatment, and Fate of pesticides in the environment.
He got his Ph.D. in the field of evaluation of mutagenic effect and oxidative stress of Pesticides on albino rats.
