Biography

Giuseppe Grazzini received the MS in mechanical engineering in 1973 from the University of Bologna (Italy). He is author or coauthor of numerous theoretical and experimental scientific publications in the fields of: Thermodynamic (Study of the so called finite time thermodynamic applied to irreversible direct and inverse cycles. Analysis and optimization of trithermal cooling cycles. Evaluation of thermodynamic parameters to estimate heat exchangers performance. Ice-slurries. Evaluation of energy needs in urban areas), Solar energy (Availability as a control parameter in solar plants management. Evaluation of heat transfer coefficient in flat plate collectors. Solar stills), Thermal conductivity (Measurements of thermal properties using hot wire transient method). He was Associate Professor of Heat and Mass Transfer at I.U.A.V. University of Architecture, Venice ( Italy). Currently Full Professor at DIEF, University of Florence ( Italy).
