- 2022: Academic award for the most active employee in the Biomedical Engineering discipline at the Bialystok University of Technology,
- 2014-2017: Academic scholarship for outstanding young scientists (9th edition), financed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
- 2010-2011: Scholarship for young doctors of the Bialystok University of Technology, financed under the Human Capital Operational Program by the European Social Fund (ESF),
- 2009, 2012-2015, 2019-2023: Individual and Team awards, Rector of the Bialystok University of Technology, for distinguished scientific and organizational activity,
- 2012 - Medal of the National Education Commission,
- 2012: Best poster award at the International Conference of the Polish Society of Biomechanics, Biomechanics 2012,

- degradation processes of polymers and polymer composites,
- thermal properties of polymers (DSC, TGA),
- natural and synthetic biological fluids (saliva, synovial fluid) – modification, physicochemical, biological, rheological and tribological properties,
- investigations of biofilm on surfaces of implant materials (biometals, medical alloys, biopolymers),
- magnetic materials for biomedical applications,
- viscoelastic properties of tissues and fluids,
- microscopic studies of materials using CLSM, SEM,
- nanomaterials,
- microbiologically induced corrosion,
- biological, physicochemical, mechanical, fatigue strength, and tribological studies of biomaterials for dentistry,
- tribological and corrosive studies of materials.
