Biography

I am a faculty member and assistant professor in the department of architecture, Azad University, Mashhad, Iran. I received my PhD in Dec 2012 from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). I am a lecturer with10 years' experience. I have been cooperating with the Cultural Heritage Organization since 1999. Furthermore, I am an editorial board member of "Creative City Design Journal" in the Urban Planning, Design and Architecture field. My research interests are directed mainly toward understanding how physical and spatial aspects interact with psychology and how humans communicate with places.
For 10 years my teaching rationale embraces the perspective that knowledge is created through the transformation of experience and critical thinking. I focus on achieving continual improvement in teaching effectiveness through attention to student feedback and maintaining links with built environment practice. I currently teach the postgraduate in two main subjects: Environmental psychology and Experimental science methods in space critique and design. I am keen to bring insights from research and practice to courses embracing interaction between environment and human and responsive environments
