Biography
Dr Rory T. Devine is a developmental psychologist with expertise in children’s social and cognitive development. Dr Devine is as an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Prior to taking up his post at Birmingham, Dr Devine worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Family Research at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom (2013 – 2017), Affiliated Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge (2015 – 2017), and Director of Studies in Psychology at Clare College, Cambridge (2014 – 2017). He completed his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Cambridge in 2013. Dr Devine’s research has been funded by the Wellcome Trust, the Economic and Social Research Council (UK), Medical Research Council (UK), Isaac Newton Trust, and St John’s College Cambridge. He is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
