Biography

I am an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced scientist with a diverse skill set. I am honest, reliable and adept at problem solving in research, experimental design, assay development, Project and Quality Management. I am dependable in a laboratory and I am a professional client-facing communicator. I am productive under pressure both independently and in teams. I have initiated, developed and maintained links with industry that have yielded funded research opportunities.
I have more than 10 years experience in Postgraduate teaching on Medical, Health and Environmental diagnostics, Food and Quality management masters and short courses. I have managed modules, lectured, run practical microbiology classes, examined and supervised more than 30 MSc students. My current position is as STEM training lead in the OU Graduate School.
