Biography

Did my PhD at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi on the rice-wheat cropping system intensification and zinc bio-fortification for which I got a merit medal from the IARI. Currently working on maize-based cropping systems for sustainable intensification, precision nutrient management and conservation agriculture. I have written 110 peer-reviewed research papers in national and international journals and > 100 other publications like book chapters, review papers, bulletins and seminar/symposium abstracts. I am associated with the teaching of post-graduate courses at IARI after I joined as a scientist in ICAR in December 2009 and guided 3 PhD and 4 PG students. I am the recipient of the MTAI Fellowship and Young Scientist award, NAAS Associateship, ISA Associateship and Young Scientist award.
