Biography

I focused on the adaptive mutations and performed research by combining in silico analyses and experiments. My previous work elucidated the importance of nonspike protein mutations of coronaviruses in transmission and immune escape, revealed the widespread of cross-species recombination across coronavirus species, and build online platforms to assist the research on adaptive mutations and identified multiple key adaptive mutations in coronavirus. My future interests focus on the general evolutionary mechanism of adaptive mutations across multiple species.
