Selçuk Keser

Biography

After graduating from Gaziantep University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, he completed his master's degree in Materials and Manufacturing Program at Istanbul Technical University. He graduated from AÖF Sociology Department, which he studied as a hobby.


Since 2012, Istanbul Bilgi University for 3 years. He worked as a Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, he founded and operated a game company, Escape from the House, in Taksim. He made the Prince Island Escape Game. In 2016, he took on the Maker Lab Manager of ATÖLYE Istanbul. In late 2016, he founded the transdisciplinary Öğrenenler (Learners) Community. With this project, he participated in the ESAA program in Czechia and was entitled to participate in the Web Summit. He was selected for İTÜ Çekirdek pre-incubation and KWORKS pre-acceleration program and Social Enterprises Ready for Investment programs. He gave STEM+A supported trainings on technology, software, electronics and robotics that brought art and Maker together at Pera Secondary School, Turkey's first and only art school. She gave Robotics and Maker trainings at Ferhatpaşa Science and Art Center and Advanced Generation Schools. He gave Robotics, Coding, Design Thinking, Creative Entrepreneurship Workshops, Escape Games, Treasure Hunt, Outdoor and Indoor Activities, and team building activities in the ELC for KIDs and High School Summer School programs held at Koç University. He worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Özyeğin University.


In his spare time from work and education, he took part in the Ruhi Su Dostlar Choir as a bassist chorus. She won awards in Koç Fest Super Voley and ITUvision song contests, and she also received applied theater training to specialize in gamification and drama in order to contribute to the Öğrenenler learning model.
