Geological Engineer (BSc, MSc, PhD) & Drilling Engineer (Consulting Engineer & Adjunct Professor)
He started his professional career as a drilling worker/driller in 1995. His educational background is as follows: Vocational School: Drilling Technology Department of Cumhuriyet University, BSc: Geological Engineering Department of Ankara University, MSc: Civil Engineering (Geotechnics) Department of Gazi University, PhD: Geological Engineering Department of Ataturk University.
Researcher in Scientific Research Projects at Istanbul Technical University, Marmara University, Ataturk University, Istanbul Gedik University, and Istanbul Esenyurt University, Adjunct Professor at the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Department of Iskenderun Technical University, and General Manager Consultant at the Turkish Petroleum International Company (TPIC) has worked.
He has published 11 professional books, 8 chapters, 64 journal articles, and 60 full-text congress papers. He is an editorial board member and reviewer in many international scientific journals. He has scientific studies as a chapter author in professional books published by leading publishing houses of the world and Turkey (Elsevier, Springer, etc.). According to the Research Interest Score, his publications are located on the website of www.researchgate.net, where the published scientific studies of almost all the researchers (academicians and engineers) in the world are included in the top 5% in the general category and in the geology category, which is his profession.
For over 25 years, he has been involved in subsurface resources (geothermal, mineral, coal, groundwater, oil, and gas) research and exploration projects (geological and geophysical surveys), rotary drilling, and diamond core drilling works of governmental institutions, organizations, and private companies. He works as an engineer and consultant in the energy and mining sectors.
