Biography

I am an Expert in Innovation Management and Engineering Management. I have experience in Project Management, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. I am proficient with Product Development, Strategy Management, Organizational design and development, business development, market oriented management and capabilities development. I am experienced in Renewable Energy Projects (EPIC - Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning) and; Industrial Production & Global Operations Development. I am a Director and Project Consultant to Imerc Energy Limited. I am actively involved with Production, Project Management, Supply Chain, Research & Teaching; Marketing and Sales related activities. I have worked as a Research Fellow, Teaching Fellow, Process Specialist, Project Manager and Supply Chain associate for various multinational companies. I have a global mind-set, an emerging market insight and cross-cultural working experiences in Europe, Asia and Africa. Oluseyi has delivered academic and industrial training programmes in Innovation Management, Project Management, Industrial Production Systems and Lean Manufacturing & Services world-wide including, UK, US, Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, India, Belgium, China, Lithuania, Romania, Portugal, Australia, Costa Rica, South Africa and Nigeria.

I am an Associate Professor at The Engineering and Design Institute, London (TEDI-London). I was a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Management at the University of South Wales, UK and a Researcher/Lecturer at the Center for Engineering Research, School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, UK where I lead the modules on Project Management and Product Development, Global business and Emerging Markets and; Lean Manufacturing and Services. I am the Pioneer Acting Head of Department, Computer and Industrial Production Engineering, First Technical University, Ibadan. Previously, I Lecture at the Department of Entrepreneurial Studies and Department of Mechanical Engineering at Osun State University, Nigeria. I held a Teaching Fellowship at the Department of International Economics and Management at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and a Research Fellowship from Aalborg University, Denmark. I have an MSc from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. United Kingdom and Aalborg University, Aalborg. Denmark and a Ph.D. from Aalborg University, Aalborg. Denmark. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK. Oluseyi is currently an external examiner for The University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey, England. UK.

Before the Academia, I held a position at FLSmidth A/S Denmark, JB Contractors A/S (Strongstaal A/S), Centre for Ultrasonic Engineering, United Kingdom, Festo Automation Limited, Technology Distributions, Paasam Technical Services, Lanok Nigeria Limited fulfilling a strategic and an analytical role. My current research work and publications focus on Innovation Management, Project Management, Production and Operations Management, Entry modes, Subsidiary-HQ relationships, internationalization and the implications of globalization for manufacturing companies. Among companies that I worked with in my research are both Danish global player companies (such as Vestas, Grundfos, Secop) and SMEs. My involvement with companies have been global. My international experience includes research activities in close collaboration with industry in the UK, USA, Denmark, China, and Nigeria. As part of an international team at the Sino-Danish Center and Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing, my research focus on various aspects of innovation management and operations strategy of western companies in China and Chinese firms. I am fluent in Yoruba, English and Danish Languages and I have a working knowledge of German and French.
