Biography

AHMED AMIRUL AREFIN received the Bachelor of Science Engineering (B.Sc)degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from United International University, Bangladesh. He has completed the Masters by Research (M.Res) degree under Yayasan (YUTP)  scholarship in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He has also served as Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. Presently, he is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Queensland, Australia, with the UQRTP scholarship.  His research interests are in the areas of power system protection, distribution system, and renewable energy
