Biography

I am a postdoctoral research associate at The University of Toledo's Medical Microbiology and Immunology Department, under the guidance of Dr. Laura Mike. My current research is focused on studying new factors that regulate Klebsiella pneumoniae mucoidy. My long-term research goal is to become an independent researcher studying the different factors that drive the virulence machinery of gram-negative opportunistic pathogens and allows them to thrive in the host.
