Biography
Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1994), Master's in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1997) and Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition from the State University of Campinas (2002). She is currently an Associate Professor (MS5-3) at the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering / University of São Paulo. Experience in the area of Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on Food Engineering, working mainly in the area of functionality of macromolecules, biodegradable packaging, natural active compounds, active compound delivery, characterization of films based on natural polymers, waste utilization of the food industry, development of new products from food waste
