Biography
Xingang Ren received B.S. degrees and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering at Anhui University, Hefei, China, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Hong Kong in 2016. From Nov. 2016 to Dec. 2018, he worked as a Research Associate. He is now a full Professor at Anhui University.
He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal papers included in the Web of Science Core Collection. He has been serving as the Invited Referee of Wiley, Elsevier, OSA, and ACES journals.
He engages in theoretical and experimental research in electromagnetics, optics, and semiconductor physics, particularly focusing on multiphysics and interdisciplinary aspects. The research topics are inspired by applications in several areas including photovoltaics, metasurfaces, and computational electromagnetics, as well as the advanced package, system on chip, and heterogeneous integration.
