Biography
She holds a PhD (Summa cum laude and Extraordinary PhD Award) in Philology (University of Huelva), a Master of Arts in Journalism (Complutense University), a Master of Philosophy in Media Studies (University of Oslo), a Master's Degree in Training of Teaching Staff in the speciality of Spanish Language and Literature (University of La Laguna) and a University Degree in Interpretation and Translation for Community Services (University of La Laguna). She has taught Spanish and Spanish for Specific Purposes in Norway, Portugal and Slovakia. Currently, she is an Assistant-Professor of Spanish at the University of Economics, Bratislava (Slovakia). In addition, she was an Assistant-Professor of Spanish at Comenius University, Bratislava (Slovakia) and collaborated with Instituto Cervantes. Her research interests are focused on affect, the intercultural competence and the audio-visual literacy in the second or foreign language classroom.
