Biography

Samantha is an associate professor with a PhD in Law (Hasselt University) and in Economics (University of Antwerp). She performs multidisciplinary research mostly in topics related to litigation and crime. Among other things, she has worked on projects for Belgian courts and prosecutor's offices. Some of her past research was related to the efficiency of courts, the impact of policy changes on litigation procedures, the budgetary analysis of court reforms, the determinants of criminal behavior, the demand for litigation in Europe and the impact of regulatory quality on civil proceedings in countries across the world.
