Biography
Agronomist graduated in 2017 from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará, where he worked as an intern in the Agricultural Zoology Laboratory of this institute, obtaining experience with Agricultural Entomology in research on the bioecology of fruit flies and their parasitoids. In 2019, he obtained a Master's degree from the Agronomy program (Agricultural Entomology) at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" FCAV/UNESP. In 2023, after a year, he completed his "Sandwich doctorate" through the Capes-Print program at the University of Tennessee, where he carried out research on lacewings and their relationship with Bt proteins. In 2024 he obtained his PhD from the same program, where he worked in the Insect Biology and Rearing Laboratory - LBCI, where he developed laboratory and field work involving the biology and rearing of pest insects and predatory and parasitoid natural enemies, with an emphasis on the group of predators from the Chrisopidae family. In December 2023, he took up a position as a researcher with a technological and industrial development grant - DTI Level A, at Embrapa Cotton, where he is carrying out research into the biological control of cotton pests. In September 2024, he took up a post-doc position at Fundecitrus, where he is carrying out research aimed at the integrated management of citrus pests, particularly Diaphorina citri.
