Prof (Dr) Ritu Sharma is currently working as a Professor for Psychology at , SLS, PDEU, Gujarat. Prof (Dr) Ritu Sharma was the former Dean of School of Liberal Studies. Prof Ritu has over 21 years of experience with a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Gold Medalist in Psychology. She is involved in the complete gamut of academic activities – teaching, research, Institutional development & training assignments. Her teaching experience involves various courses at the university level in psychology & management-related subjects at the Ph.D., Postgraduate & Graduate levels.
• As an invited TEDx speaker in 2010 at AMA, she highlighted Innovation In Higher Education.
• She is actively involved in International and Nationally funded research projects, consultancy, and training assignments in Indian Psychology and Indigenous perspectives, Psychometrics, Cognitive Behavior Interventions, Stress Management, Psychosocial Interventions, & Personality Studies for associated stakeholders.Her research work outcomes have a profound impact on diverse stakeholder
• She is professionally trained and has psychometric and cognitive behavior intervention expertise. She has also been certified as a stress management trainer by the International Council of Stress Management Professionals. She brings diverse work experience with insight into different phases and nuances of human activity and behavior.
• She has authored and edited books to her credit. Her publications include peer-reviewed research papers, articles, case studies, reports of national and international reputation, edited books & authored books in Personality Psychology, C.B.T. in Indian Context & Personality, well-being and work in India, and Living Conditions and Quality of Life.
• Dr. Sharma is an associate life member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychology (IACP), a life member of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), and a full member of the National Academy of Psychology (NAOP).
• She is currently the Vice-President of the Indian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (IACBT)
• She has served as a scientific committee member, consulting editor, and reviewer for International conferences and on the Editorial Board of reputed Journals. Her research work has been quoted in national and local newspapers.
• She is also the Program Chair for the Study in India short-term program (PDEU) and crafted and implemented a program for International students from the USA, Australia, and Europe.
• She has visited International Universities in Australia, the U.S.A., Europe & Asia for academic & research work.
