Biography

Ria-Maria Adams is a postdoctoral researcher in social and cultural anthropology at the University of Vienna and a visiting researcher at the Arctic Centre/University of Lapland in Rovaniemi. Her work explores Arctic transport and tourism infrastructures, youth wellbeing, and shrinking towns in the Fennoscandian Arctic, where she has conducted fieldwork since 2011.
