Biography

Dr Ho Ngoc Son is currently a Professor in Climate change and Indigenous knowledge at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry. He obtained a PhD in Global Environmental Change (2013) from the Australian National University. In addition to research and teaching for university students, Dr Son worked as a Deputy Director of the Agriculture and Forestry Research and Development Centre for Mountainous Region where he has led many development projects. He is a national climate scientist under the LEARN VN project. All these projects aim at promoting the equality, the rights and voices and empowerment for ethnic minority women in remote areas of Vietnam.
