Biography
My research interests lie in some or all of the following issues:
• Mathematical modelling of infectious diseases: the use of system of differential equations to predict how infectious diseases progress and use of parameters to develop the means for prevention or control in public health.
• Use mathematical theories and methodologies to gain insights into the qualitative behaviour of non-linear dynamical systems arising from the mathematical modelling of phenomena in the natural and engineering sciences, with more emphasis on the transmission and control dynamics of human diseases of public health interest.
• Use of system of differential equations to predict how infectious diseases progress and the use of parameters to develop the means of prevention or control of diseases in public health.
• Mathematical modelling of infectious diseases and its aspects in epidemiology; control strategy of infectious using optimal control; application of fuzzy set theory modeling uncertainties and fuzziness when a more realistic scenario is considered.
• The formulation in mathematical terms (generally partial differential equations) problems in continuum mechanics; studies of the well-posedness of such problems (specially Fibre Suspension Flows),
• The use of functional analysis techniques to prove wellposedness;
• Establishing existence, uniqueness and other qualitative features of solutions of Partial differential equations;
• Optimisation problems and the mean to solve these problems by numerical approach.
• Modelling of flow of fluids in human body (blood flow).
• Numerical Analysis: Application of Differential Transform Methods to solve nonlinear differential equations.
