Biography
Professor Ana Bravo has been teaching Veterinary Pathology since 1985. She holds Veterinary degree and PhD and has over twenty-four years of leadership and management experience as elected Dean at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), and as elected President of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). She also has over twelve years of group working at international level at the European Committee on Veterinary Education (ECOVE), the European Coordinating Committee on Veterinary Training (ECCVT) and the Executive Committee of EAEVE. Since 2006 she has been involved in the quality assurance accreditation of Veterinary Education Establishments in Europe and beyond. Her main areas of expertise include Veterinary Pathology of domestic animals in teaching, Pathology phenotyping of transgenic mice as model of human diseases, and Veterinary Education, in research, and Quality Assurance and accreditation of Veterinary Education Establishments in Europe as expert visitor.
