Biography

Mauro Mendez is a MSc student at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto. His thesis focused on the use of artificially simulated images to improve in the detection of rare diseases. Mauro has an strong interest in the development and deployment of clinical AI-driven solutions for real healthcare problems. As part of Dr. Tyrrell's Mauro has been involved in 9 publications related to AI in Medicine.
