Biography

Getaneh Berie Tarekegn (Member, IEEE) received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Gondar, Gondar, Ethiopia, in 2012. He received an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2019 and 2022, respectively. Currently, he serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Institute of Electrical and Control Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. His research interests include wireless communications, UAV-based wireless communications, positioning technology, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces for wireless communications, deep learning, federated learning, and mobile big data management.
