Biography

Rita Engrácia Antunes Moutinho de Barros. Graduated in Bioengineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in 2021 with a Master dissertation entitled Carbon-based nanomaterials for the development of anti-leukemic drugs. From there, she continued her work at LSRE-LCM, Department of Chemical Engineering, FEUP, with a scholarship from the project NanoPurAsp. From 2022 to nowadays, she decided to join the project Two-Dimensional Materials for Carbon Dioxide Separation and Conversion (2DMAT4FUEL) also at LSRE-LCM. She co-supervised 1 Master dissertation and 1 Bachelor investigation project. Her main areas of interest are: biotechnology, bioengineeried nanomaterials, enzymatic catalysis and cancer therapy.
