Biography
I received my Ph.D. in orthopedic biomechanics from Montreal University and my Ph.D. thesis was on the three-dimensional kinematic analysis of the trunk in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. I started my faculty position at Bu Ali Sina University in 1997. My research interests are human movement analysis in clinical populations such as individuals with scoliosis, low back pain, ACL reconstruction, ankle instability, and individuals with limb amputation. I am also interested in analyzing muscle function and therapeutic exercises. I have developed an exercise protocol for scoliosis treatment based on which I established a specialized exercise center for the treatment of patients with scoliosis in Hamedan, Iran.
