Julie Hodson

Biography

Julie is the Programme Leader for MFI's three fashion business courses: Fashion Business and Management, Fashion Buying and Merchandising and Fashion Marketing.

Julie's specialist area of expertise is International Fashion Supply Chain Management, a subject in which she has conducted research for the retail industry, written trade articles, taught and published papers internationally.

Julie is active in research, academic enterprise and works closely with the international retail industry. In additional to her role as a Programme Leader, Julie also facilitating student's personal development and academic progress, achievement, career readiness aspirations and transitions into and out of university education.
Prior to working in academia, Julie was a senior fashion retail buyer across a variety of fashion retailer organisation and has travelled extensively sourcing product globally for over 20 years.
