Biography

Dr Maha is the Head of the Marketing Department and the former director of the MBA program in the college of Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University. Dr Maha is the faculty fellow at the Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in SQU. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. She has published papers in reputed journals. Her research interests include consumer behavior and branding in sports, food, fashion and tourism together with AI- enabled customers service and branding. Dr. Maha has successfully supervised and examined Master and PhD theses. She also served as program reviewer and verifier for various local programs. Specifically, she is the External Reviewer for Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.
