Biography

Graduate in Medicine in 2016 with specialization in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2020 in the University of Barcelona. After finishing the residency, he was granted with a “Emili Letang – Josep Font Contractes Clinic de Recerca 2020”, a research contract which was developed during the next 2 years and led to a PhD in Translational Medicine by the University of Barcelona in 2022 on advanced cirrhosis due to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Working full time in the Liver Intensive Care Unit of Hospital Clinic de Barcelona since February 2022 taking care of patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure, acute liver failure and vascular diseases of the liver, among others. Interested in clinical and translational research he has finished two master’s degrees: one on Research Methodology by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2022) and one on Clinical Research in Hepatology by the University of Barcelona (2021). He has attended many courses and academic symposiums and meetings in liver diseases and Intensive Care Medicine.
