Biography

Dr. Mustafa Onur Ulu is a professor of Neurosurgery at the Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty Department of Neurological Surgery. He completed his residency training at the same department in 2008. Dr.Mustafa Onur Ulu’s clinical focus is on minimally invasive techniques in the surgical management of degenerative, traumatic, and neoplastic spinal disorders. His clinical interests also include surgical treatment of malignant and benign brain tumors, particularly the skull base surgery. His research efforts are focused on the molecular biology and regenerative treatment of traumatic spinal cord and brain injury as well as microsurgical neuroanatomy. He is a member of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society, Eurospine, AOSpine and European Association of Neurological Societies (EANS).
