Biography

Ph.D in Social Sciences at the University of Padua (Italy) and Ph.D in Psychology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). Post-doctorate at the Catholic University of Brasília with a grant form the National Post-Doctoral Program. Graduation and State Exam in Psychology at the University of Padua, with registration in the Board of Psychologists of the Veneto region. Furthermore, he got the national qualification for associate professor in Italy. He was a visiting professor for MA and Ph.D courses in Social, Work and Organisational Psychology at the University of Brasília, where he realised teaching, research and supervision activities. At the same university he also hold lessons and training courses for the undergraduate program in Psychology, beside being an associate editor of the scientific journal Psicologia: Teoria & Pesquisa (Psychology: Theory & Research). As a member of the Interaction & Culture Lab of the University of Padua, he conducts studies concerning the understanding of psychosocial and normative processes in everyday live, public institutions and intercultural contexts. At the same university he is also a fellow of the Unit of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Public Health, where he collaborates with different international projects, mainly in the field of paediatrics and clinical sciences. He coordinates several multilateral agreements among different Brazilian and Italian institutions for higher education. He speaks Italian and German as native languages and speaks fluently English and Portuguese.
