Biography
I am a Ph.D. student in TAU Neuro-Immunology Lab led by Prof. Shamgar Ben-Eliyahu at Tel Aviv University. My curiosity regarding the connection between the mind and the body led me through a career as a professional dancer into pursuing my academic career within the field of Neuroscience. I completed my BDA (Bachelor of Dance) in 2012 from CODARTS Dance Academy in the Netherlands, and worked as a dance performer, teacher, and coordinator of interdisciplinary performance art events. My search for the mind-body connection led me back to Israel where I graduated with excellence my B.Sc. (2018) and M.Sc. (2020) in Neuroscience from Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University. I joined Shamgar Ben-Eliyahu's Psycho-Neuro-Immunology Lab during the final year of my Bachelor studies and am now studying the effects of stress and surgery in the perioperative timeframe on metastatic progression. I aspire to develop my career as a scientist and deepen my understanding of the intricate relations between psychological and physiological processes.
