Biography

Paulo Amaral is an Assistant Professor at INSPER - Institute of Education and Research, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Molecular Geneticists with special interest in bioengineering, genome regulation, RNA and epigenetics. Previously, he studied the role of noncoding DNA; the biology of RNAs and their chemical modifications, as well as their implications in physiology and disease. Former Research Scientist and Consultant at Storm Therapeutics, and independent researcher at Milner Therapeutics Institute supported by a Borysiewicz Biomedical Sciences Fellowship (University of Cambridge).
