Biography

I have a grade in GESIS (Management of Health Information Systems) by the University of Antioquia (Colombia), a Master in Public Health by the Miguel Hernández University (Elche, Spain), and a PhD in Public Health by the University of Murcia. She is a researcher at the Murcia Regional Health Council, Researcher of the CIBER on Epidemiology and Public Health, member of the Research Group on Epidemiology and Public Health of the IMIB and international peer of the Group on Demography and Health of the University of Antioquia (Colombia). As researcher of the EPIC project, she has participated in several studies on the interaction of genetic, biochemical and lifestyle factors, on coronary heart diseae (EPIC-CVD) and cancer. Her research interests focus on the dietary, social, and lifestyle factors associated with cancer and chronic diseases. I contribute my expertise as a reviewer in several scientific journals and as a guest editor in special issues.
