Biography

NRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Guided Wave Electromagnetics Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado. My research focuses on using on-chip microwave microfluidic measurements to derive the dielectric properties of fluids, particularly for electrochemical systems. This research is part of a larger effort at NIST called NIST-on-a-chip (NOAC): https://www.nist.gov/noac/technology/fluid-measurements/chip-measurements-biofluids-and-cells.

Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2021 under the direction of Prof. Scott Warren. NSF-GRFP fellow performing research on electride-based electrodes for fluoride-ion batteries. Earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Appalachian State University in 2016 and completed an honors thesis under Dr. Alexander Schwab.
