Biography

Renato Nascimento is a Ph.D. Candidate and Research Assistant at the Probabilistic Mechanics Laboratory at the University of Central Florida (UCF). His current research, in collaboration with the Diagnostics and Prognostics group at NASA Ames, concentrates on the aging of Lithium-ion batteries with probabilistic hybrid machine learning. Renato has over 15 years of research and development experience in software for consumer and industrial applications, and before starting his Ph.D. studies, he deployed large scale Industrial AI solutions.
