Biography

Sasan Harifi received the B.Sc degree in computer engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Karaj, Karaj, Iran, in 2011, the M.Sc degree in software engineering from the Faculty of Electrical, Computer and IT Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Qazvin Branch, Iran, in 2015, and the Ph.D degree from the Islamic Azad University of Karaj, Karaj, Iran, in 2020. His current research interests include optimization algorithms, metaheuristic algorithms, swarm intelligence, nature-inspired algorithm, data mining, and big data. He is also the first to introduce a novel source of inspiration called "Ancient-inspired" to develop metaheuristic algorithms.
