Biography

I am a Biomedical engineer (20011) with a master degree in Biomedical Tecnology-Instrumentation and Medical Signals (2013), with a soon to be defended PhD in Clinical Visual Neuroscience. Currently, I am also a Researcher at CINTESIS- Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto. I have contributed to a few peer-reviewed publications and have worked collaboratively with a number of researchers, across three different countries. My research has been focused on questions about visual losses in severe inherited retinal disorders by designing and conducting psychophysical experiments to improve clinical diagnostic tecnologies. Recently, I have been involved in the implementation of health interventions and m-Health technologies for respiratory diseases
