Biography
I am an animal cognition researcher with a multidisciplinary background.
After receiving my Ph.D. in Paleontology from the University of Granada (under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Checa), I went to the University of Georgia to study tool use in wild chimpanzees under the supervision of the comparative psychologist, primatologist, and Professor Emerita of Psychology, Dorothy Fragaszy.
I then did another Ph.D. in Comparative Cognition (supervised by Assoc. Prof. Alice Auersperg) in the Goffin Lab (Messerli Research Institute, Vetmeduni, Vienna), studying tool use in Goffin's cockatoos.
Now I'm a post-doc in the Goffin lab, trying to unravel the fascinating cognitive abilities of Goffin's cockatoos and other species.
