Biography

Hamzeh Almahasneh is a part-time lecturer at the Department of English Language and Literature, University of Jordan, Amman-Jordan. His research interest revolves around the eighteenth century English literature, comparative literature, postcolonial and anti-colonial literature, He obtained his PhD degree in English literature from the University of Jordan in 2019. He has published a chapter in a book entitled “Jonathan Swift: The Intellectual as an Amateur” in Cambridge Publishing Scholars and an article, "Identity as self-defense: Langston Hughes as the Voice of the Voiceless in Ars Aeterna, “The Concept of Dream as a Technique of Resistant Consciousness and Emancipation in the Poetry of Langston Hughes and Mahmoud Darwish” in Theory and Practice in Language Studies.
