Biography

Ahmed Gharib Yosry is lecturer of fluid dynamics and Renewable energy systems in the Mechanical Power Engineering dept., he received his PhD degree in 2023 from the Energy Dept., University of Oviedo, Spain. He received his B.S. from Port Said University in Mechanical Power Engineering in 2012 and his M.Sc. dual degree from the University of Oviedo and Port Said University in 2017. Prior to receiving his master degree, he spent one year at Oviedo university as a Research Fellow in the frame of the Erasmus Mundus programme (+KA107) from 2014 to 2015. His research interests are in Renewable energy, Sustainability, Fluid dynamics, design and experimental testing of wind and tidal turbines and CFD simulations using ANSYS and OpenFOM.
