Biography

Marie is an Associate professor in Social work at Örebro University.

Her main research interest is: 1) People living with brain injuries, their experience and the consequences, 2) Quality of care for people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD) 3) Theories in social work within the health care.

Marie is a supervisor to four PhD students their interests are interventions for people with cognitive impairment, stroke, profound intellectual and multiple disability and implementation within a disability context.

She is also a senior lecturer and primarily teaches in the healthcare social work program. She supervises master's thesis and is responsible for several courses.
