Biography
Xingran Chen received the B.S. (Statistics, 2015) degree from Central South University, the M.A. (Applied Mathematics and Computational Science, 2018) and Ph.D. (Electrical and System Engineering, 2023) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Information and Communication Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (as of Sep. 2023). His research interests are in the intersection of Information Theory, Machine Learning, and Networks, and its applications in the next-generation networks (NextG) and the Internet of Things (IoT). He was a recipient of the IEEE Communications Society & Information Theory Society Joint Paper Award in 2023.
