Dr. He's research addresses various challenges in bridge structures, focusing on structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, and data assimilation. His interests include the development and implementation of next-generation seismic response modification devices (Innovative Seismic System Creation, ISSC), innovative structural performance assessment approaches (ISPA), and life-span maintenance management techniques (LMMT) that combine physics-based and data-driven methods.
