Biography

I graduated my PhD in Applied physics at university of Poitiers in 2004 in laser induced shock waves during which I was a contributor of the LASer Shock Adhesion Test (LASAT). Afterward, I was invited researcher at NRC-Canada. Since 2007, I have been working at Ecole Nationale des Techniques Avancées in Brest, France. Nowadays, I am Full Professor, I lead a research activity about shocks, impacts and explosions : how to observe them, how do they propagate in complexe media and what are their effects. I am mainly experimentator but sometimes I carry out numerical modelling. My teaching activity is also about these topics.
