Biography

Professor of Psychology, Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw, SWPS University, Poland. Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Design in Poznan (2011-2019) and Head of the Department of Individual Differences and Psychological Assessment (2011-2019). She is an author and co-author of over 110 articles and 10 books on personality, well-being, and social psychology. She is especially interested in personality and environmental factors as predictors of well-being and desirable positive behavior (e.g. citizenship), including the context of developmental periods. She has been involved in national and international research projects on youth citizenship and well-being. She headed the Interdisciplinary Team for Science Dissemination at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2011-2016). A member of the ESF Pool of Reviewers (2009-2015) and ESF College of Expert Reviewers (2016-2019), the EAPP, the Polish Psychological Association, and the Polish Association of Positive Psychology.
