Biography

I develop biotechnology tools to support the sustainable growth of primary industries. These include (1) CRISPR-based diagnostic assays for disease diagnosis in plants and animals; (2) Gene editing to improve the welfare and performance of livestock; and (3) Genetic pest management tools for controlling damaging invasive species.
